We had yet another excellent meal at Becca. The appetizers, especially the green falafel and kababonim, were standouts. The filet mignon was delicious and perfectly prepared. Last time, the ragu was a real highlight and the bread never disappoints. Tara was a spectacular server.

My wife and I chose Becca for a special occasion, and it was the perfect place to celebrate.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire evening without ever being overbearing.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and exceeded our expectations. It was clear that a great deal of care goes into both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience.

We had a great meal the first time we visited about 6 months ago and were happy to return. The food was again excellent and our waitress, Tara, was attentive and friendly. We love service with a genuine smile! I could not finish my delicious Duck Breast Main and asked to take the leftovers to go. We were given a ticket and told we could pick it up on our way out. Sadly another patron had mistakenly (or not) taken my “ticketed to go” bag and left his 2 bites of dessert bag. Without hesitation the manager/maitre d’ had another Duck Breast main and sides ordered and packaged to go for us and now we have another delicious meal to look forward too.! This was exemplary service.

Never had such a bad experience! My husband and and I got seated and were left waiting for a waiter to come for 30 min. My husband tried to flag down a waiter a couple of times and they just smiled and went over to collect payment from other tables. After 30 min of waiting we finally got a waiter to come and take out order and they then told us that the kitchen has closed but we can order dessert. Needles to say we left hungry and in search of food…

We arrived at the restaurant and got seated while checking the menu no waiter came to our table. we sat there for half an hour and then after a waitrest finally showed up she told us that they just closed the kitchen a minute ago and can’t serve us anything beside dessert. it’s a shame that a night out with my wife turns to a time that I need to circle around and look for food.

We had a great date night. We loved the short rib pizza which our amazing server Daniel recommended. He was super friendly. We also loved the bone marrow frena. The aged ribeye was delicious, I just wish we ordered it medium instead of MR but we were full and decided it would be better to cook it more at home before we have it as leftovers.

What stood out here was really good service. They’re definitely doing something right in that department.

In terms of the food, it was overall very good and fresh. The short rib flat bread in particular was great. The hummus and eggplant appetizers were great. The homemade frena was delicious.

The pulled duck risotto was very good, but just a little too salty. For mains I ordered thr lamb tagine and this was really too salty. It’s a shame because it was otherwise a great dish with really tender lamb and good flavors, but the salt was overpowering. (I still finished it because reasons, but gosh I was thirsty after). Burger was good if not a little undercooked. (Med instead of med-well) fries were the soft potato-ey kind. Not my speed but I guess some people like those.

Desserts were excellent, specifically the galette. Even the pareve ice cream was good somehow. Will definitely be back.

All of the food was delicious. Our only issue was that one of the mains ordered, our Tomahawk steak ($175) was ordered as medium but came more well done than it should have but we took it and later regretted it but….

Also, I believe the reservation was for 4 in the VIP room but we were placed in the main area not knowing the difference since it was our first time there.

After all of that, we still would go back again and expect an even better experience.

The filet mignon and chicken dishes were also fantastic. The drinks were delightful, and overall the service was great—just very attentive and friendly. My only small critique was that the dessert didn’t quite live up to the rest of the meal, but I would definitely return for the fantastic main courses. Highly recommend them!

Daniel was really attentive, filling our water cups often, answering questions about the menu, checking whether we needed anything.

We ordered several appetizers to share and then went for the desserts. They changed the lamb merguez it seems, not as good as a few months ago, it was okay but used to be better, in my opinion. Shwarma chummus is one of the most delicious things in the menu – with their fresh bread, it’s just so good! The silan is amazing! Best dessert! The new blueberry galette was okay but nothing really compares to the silan.

Been to Becca a couple of times and food and service have both been amazing. The pasta/ragu was particularly good and our server, Daniel, did an amazing job on our recent visit.

Honestly a terrible experience. Let me start by saying i’ve seen 2 employees leaving the restroom without washing their hands, Food is overpriced for the portions and quality you receive. Everything was very pushy and rushed as well.

Went to this place for date night after seeing a friend post about it on social media. It looked amazing, so I had to check it out. Service was quick, polite and courteous. Aiden served us and is a great waiter that knows all the details about the menu. Food was five stars across the board and made tonperfection. Rhis is thr kind of restaurant that has high integrity and takes tremendous pride in their work. A rare find. The whole experience was beyond pleasant. The entire menu looked delicious. There was seriously not a single thing on there that I wouldn't try at some point but for this night, we wound up choosing the Mediterranean appetizer platter, the Becca Burger and fillet mignon for the main. Their platter came with their own made in-house Mediterranean flat bread which was fresh out of the oven, savory and delicious. Their drinks menu was also very creative and delicious and visually striking. We tried two cocktails and I though they were both phenomenal both in flavor and appearance. All around great experience end-to-end. On our way out, I introduced myself to the general manager (who greeted us warmly and with a smile as soon as we walked in) amd told him that I think this place will do really great. He said they've only been open for six months. I see over 300 reviews and an average of 4.9 stars. That says a lot but if it were up to me, it would be five or six stars.

Cool new place – Daniel will take care of you. Get the Negev Margarita, lamb tangine, duck risotto, pesek zman dessert. Oh, and bring someone to share it all!

We were a group of six. It was very difficult to have a conversation in a relatively loud environment. Dinner started out well and the appetizers were very good. I didn’t really like my meal, the lamb tagine, so I switched with my husband who ordered the steak. The steak was fatty and the French fries were soggy, so I gave it back to my husband. There was no vegetable side dish. The bottled water on the table was luke warm; however, I ordered a third meal because I was still hungry and unhappy with the first two choices and it was good but cold. Some of my family members ordered two desserts to share. They were good but extremely small portions at a ridiculous price.

Leah was an exceptional server, polite, professional and friendly. The Lamb Tagine was crazy good. The moroccan Salmon a bit too spicy. But overall, amazing.

Out server Leah was great!! Food was decent. The bronzino was ok (overcooked and plenty of bones) My group had steaks and they said they were good enough. Drinks were good, I recommend the old fashioned. The sticking point was that the owner/ manager was stalking around , speaking to some but not all tables. His only interaction with our table is he gobbled up the check and said “we could really use this table”… no cooth whatsoever . We were there for a business dinner and from start to finish was just under 2 hours, pretty standard if not quick for a business dinner. His demeanor ruined the night.

After hearing about this new Mediterranean restaurant Becca located in Cliffside Park, NJ for the last year, I finally decided to check it out for myself. From when you turn onto the front drive to the parking lot, you already feel like you are at a destination, not just another restaurant. As we walked from the lot to Becca, we had an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline. Upon entering you just marvel at the décor and chicness of the restaurant. After being welcomed by John and were seated, we began to look over the menu. There were two apps that immediately caught my attention. Naturally, we had to order the Spicy Lamb Merguez Flatbread from Becca’s amazing oven in the front. It had such an amazing crust and spices like amba, veggies and of course lamb. It was delicious and so Israeli. My wife said she felt like we were back in Israel. The second appetizer we went with was the Risotto Pulled Duck Confit. This dish for me was something else. Perfectly cooked risotto with some fresh carrots and peas perfectly al dente, gave the dish some texture as well as some pulled duck confit and crispy duck cracklin. It all came together in one delicious bite that had me polishing off the entire dish quickly.

We also browsed their drink menu which included wine, cocktails, spirits and after dinner drinks. Naturally, I had to try a cocktail, so I went with the Jaffa Mojito and my wife went with the zero proof Passion Spritz. Both were amazing and refreshing.

After talking to the maître de, we naturally chose the 20oz. Bone In Ribeye. Becca dry ages all their own meats in house and the meat was buttery soft. It was served with this amazingly fresh chimichurri and au poivre. I loved the fact that I could choose the sides. While I usually go for mashed potatoes or French fries, this time we went with the medley of roasted vegetables. They were perfect and the dish is something I would recommend to anyone. For our second main we tried the Roasted Lamb Shank Tagine. This dish was something else. Imagine if you will some of the most delicious lamb with flavors like apricots toasted almonds, caramelized onions on a bed of couscous with some pomegranate seeds. We were going back and forth between the dishes because we couldn’t pick a favorite. Each dish had such unique flavors but so different from the other. It was the best way to sample the Mediterranean flavors.

For dessert, we tried the three most popular desserts on the menu. First off, the Becca which was a reinvented tiramisu. Everyone knows what a tiramisu is, but now imagine it as an almond pistachio sponge soaked in cardamom infused coffee, layered with cream cheese mousse, pistachio dust, coffee and orange liquor gel shots and a touch of orange-infused ganache. It was like a tiramisu covered in a hard chocolate shell, utter perfection. Our second dessert was called the Pesek Zman Tiribute. It was inspired by Israel’s favorite candy bar which consisted of a chocolate crunch base layered with chocolate cremeux, hazelnut mousse, a touch of spiced praline, passion/raspberry sauce and a tuile roll. It was decadent. Finally, we had the Silan. Image if you can, a silky sesame ice cream topped with halva strands and then drizzled with rich Silan caramel. It was the perfect end to an amazing meal. If you are looking for something different with amazing flavors and amazing staff and top notch chef and dessert chef, head over the Becca and remember to tell them Yossi sent you.

Third time eating here. Cocktails are superb, as is the service. However, serving sizes were reduced greatly (although not their prices), and quite tasty, but also not as it was before. They really MUST lower the music, which is too loud to enjoy the pretty atmosphere.

I ate here for my anniversary and it was absolutely BEYOND!!! First of all, the waiter gave us a “tour” of the menu because we had never been there before and it was super helpful because he walked us through all the sections and recommended what he’d get in each section. He was even as thoughtful as to tell us what to get in a certain section if we get something else in another section because they go well together. The frena bread is a MUST – do not eat there without trying it!! Our absolute favorite dish was the merguez flatbread which was bursting with flavor! And I can’t recommend the silan dessert enough – best parve ice cream I’ve ever had in my life (if you didn’t tell me it was parve I honestly wouldn’t have guessed). Go there ASAP!!

We ate at becca yesterday, and have only amazing things to say about it. They have delicious Israeli style cuisine, their chummus was the creamiest chummus I’ve had, their frena bread was so delicious that we ordered some to go….. the service was impeccable, our waiter, Daniel, was the nicest waiter ever, attentive, patient and super kind. The silan ice cream covered in shaved halva was something special. The place is beautiful and has such a nice vibe and esthetics. Would def recommended this place!

We had never been to BECCA and I found it on ‘Dining Out Jersey’ while looking for new spots to try and my 2 friends and I found it to be a good finding. This is a kosher restaurant with fresh food, decent wine and a nice chic atmosphere.

David our server was exceptional. He recommended the right amount of food for my friends and I to share and the food was top quality and fresh. This is a kosher restaurant with excellent menu selections for all. Highly recommend and be sure to ask for David from Bogota Colombia as your server, you won’t be disappointed!

We had 3 appetizers to share , tuna tartare which was very fresh, chicken sawarma humus, and the beef cigars, 1 bottle of wine and shared the whole bronzino.

WOW!!! where can I start?

My husband and I dined at this treasure last night. From even before we walked in, the vibe with the music, the lights, the locations – it was an amazing start! The rest of the evening was even better! Daniel was our waiter and he was terrific! The food was outrageous!!! Plentiful, so so so FRESH , came out on time, and just perfectly delicious. A massive shout out to John – general manager – he took care of us and all the other patrons with sincerity and class – we felt like VIPs. We'll back for sure!!!

Great kosher celebration meal

Had the pleasure of being in your area this past Thursday for dinner. (Came from out of town). Had a wonderful meal (rib eye along with Ragu at the table which I tasted. Both were excellent). Your Negev Margarita was fab! Our server, Ari really knows the menu well. She made our night special with her bubbly personality and recommendations. We will certainly be back in the very near future & will be requesting Ari for our server! Thanx for a fantastic Thursday night!

We had a really great time at Becca. The food was excellent from start to finish. The Mesa appetizer was a standout — the bread and dips were absolutely delicious. The falafel was super tasty and fresh.

The pulled duck risotto was rich and flavorful, and for mains the roasted lamb shank was incredibly soft, tender, and packed with flavor. You can really tell a lot of care goes into the dishes.

The drinks from the bar were very good as well, nicely made and enjoyable. For dessert, the pesek zman dessert was super unique and surprisingly delicious — a great way to end the meal.

The only 2 downsides were that the music was very loud, a bit too loud at times and my wife really wanted the pasta which they didn’t have available that day, but overall it didn’t take away from a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely come back.

I dined at Becca last week with a friend. We had a fabulous time! The food was outstanding (I enjoyed a delectable, delicate Tunisian sea bass, which was redolent with flavors and a tad crunchy on top. I accompanied that with a Becca Margarita, which was one of the best ever – the black sea salt was not as biting as most salted rims, an added tremendously to the beverage experience. The passionfruit juice gave it a unique, exotic flavor. Our Pesek Ziman dessert was unusual and delightful. Pistachio ganache topped the confection, and a crunchy wafer sat perfectly poised on its upper level, perpendicular to the candy portion. What a perfect ending to this entrancing meal. Our waitress was Leah, and we exchange much fun banter with her over the course of our repast. We also had the pleasure of being served by Jonathan, with his perfectly waxed handlebar moustache. We made each other laugh quite a bit. When I made my reservation, I requested to be seated in the main dining area. However, we were instead seated in the private dining area, which was noisier than the main area, so I rated Atmosphere as 4 points. Also, I would rather park my own car than deal with valet, but they do not seem to have access to a parking lot. All in all, this was a memorable evening that my friend and I will definitely cherish!

Wow! Even though I had messed up our reservations we were graciously greeted and offered seats at the bar (which in the end we loved). Food was fine. Nothing special. Small portions and high prices. The bread was really hyped up on here, as was the tiramisu, and while both were good, they weren’t amazing. Maybe this is a good step forward for NJ, but I’d prefer to spend the same amount of money elsewhere. $200 before tip for two entrees, two apps, and a shared dessert.

My wife and I recently dined at the new Israeli kosher restaurant next door — a rare treat, since it’s one of the few times we’ve been able to walk to dinner rather than drive. The approach to the restaurant, down a long, narrow road that feels a bit like entering the Batcave, adds an unexpected sense of charm and coziness. We didn’t need it this time because we walked, but it’s definitely part of the experience.

We remember the space from years past, and the new owners have truly transformed it. The renovation is stylish, modern, and elegant, with interesting touches that give the restaurant a distinct character. The atmosphere strikes a great balance: casual enough to feel comfortable, yet elevated enough to feel special.

The menu reflects Israeli and North African influences — Moroccan dishes included — and everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout.

With so many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurants in the area, this one manages to offer something genuinely special and memorable. We left already thinking about what we’ll try on our next visit.

Had a very enjoyable almost birthday dinner last Sunday. The owners created a fun Tel-Avivian vibe with an interesting menu.

We started off with the chummus which was seasoned well with a smooth and creamy texture. The falafel was crispy and well seasoned. The lamb kabobinim were also delicious.

Mains were the Papradelle Ragu, challah schnitzel, surprise steak, and the lamb tagine with dried fruit and couscous. Everyone was very happy with their choices.

Dessert was the Becca which was a pistachio tiramsu with a hard chocolate outer shell.

Our server, Daniel, and the other wait were attentive and we we found the menu reasonably priced.

Becca is a nice addition to the Bergen County Kosher dining scene. We'll definitely be back.

Stumbled upon this place with my girls for a quick bite and it was fantastic! Marcos was anything less than spectacular! All of his recommendations were perfection! From the hummus and Ceasar Salad to the Duck, Lamb, Filet and we shared the Chicken under the brick. I was surprised on how juicy and flavorful everything was. I will say, I wish they had a better selection of side dishes to accompany the dishes! We all cocktails which were pretty tasty! Will be back again for a Date night or Girl night or possible Birthday!

Just left the restaurant and the food itself was amazing. The flat bread lamb was delicious and the bread was to die for. The tuna was not great bc it was too much vinegar and too much acid but the tuna itself was fine. The lamb and rib eye was also great. The only reason i would not go back is because the drinks were soooooooo weak. 20$ a drink is normal for any restaurant but it was honesty not worth the drink. It was a very very weak drink and very disappointing tbh. Otherwise Alex was great but drinks were so bad.

We shared a Tomahawk steak and lamb chops with delicious fries and we added poivre (pepper ) and chimichurri sauce make our steaks sing even more! Desserts were the Becca and the praline mousse crunch – everything out of this world. A very fitting celebration dinner with loved ones

I had dinner there last Thursday and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The food was incredible, and Daniel, our server, was absolutely fantastic. He recommended a margarita for me and a mojito for my friends—both were perfect. The lamb chops were delicious, and the Silan and Becca Tiramisu were the perfect sweet ending to the night.

The music was fun and added such a great vibe to the whole place.

A welcome addition to the kosher food options in North Jersey. Excellent food. Prepared temperature-wise exactly as ordered. Our group had filet mignon, rib eye steak and lamb chops. All delicious.

Desserts. if you have room. are excellent. We had a delicious tiramisu.

Nice wine list, reasonably priced.

Only issue is main dining room is noisy, hard to have a conversation. There is a back room which is quieter and conducive to conversations.

We had dinner at Becca on a busy Sunday evening, and despite the crowd, the atmosphere was amazing. The Israeli music in the background added a fun, lively vibe that instantly put us in a good mood.

We ordered a variety of dishes — the mezze, Caesar salad, burger, lamb shank, chicken dish, and spaghetti, and every single one was excellent. For dessert, we tried the Pesek Zman and the apple pie, and both were absolutely delicious.

Overall, great food, great energy, and a really enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Becca presents itself as a modern Mediterranean destination with real heart, and much of the evening lived up to that promise. The space feels warm and intimate, with soft lighting and design choices that lean into Mediterranean comfort. At the same time, the room grows tight once the tables fill, and the noise rises enough to make conversation a bit strained. Even so, the staff carries themselves with patience and professionalism. Our server, Aiden, guided the dinner with a steady hand and made the experience feel cared for from start to finish.

The meal opened with cocktails that showed ambition. The Old Fashioned had a silky weight from the tahini washed bourbon, but the Ras el Hanout took a strong lead and overshadowed some of the sweetness. It was intriguing, though I would have enjoyed a slightly more balanced profile. The Venetian Spritz provided the opposite sensation, citrusy and refreshing with a pleasant lemon depth from the limoncello.

The Canoe Cut Bone Marrow was one of the night’s most enjoyable dishes. The char on top gave way to tender, rich marrow that paired naturally with the chimichurri and bread. The only limitation was the portion, since the bones were smaller than expected. The Caesar salad was crisp, fresh, and pleasantly tangy.

The steak delivered a flavorful sear but arrived with uneven doneness. Parts were a true medium, while others leaned rare, suggesting the heat was not distributed evenly. The chimichurri could use more brightness, and a final touch of coarse salt would lift the flavor further. In contrast, the roasted lamb shank tagine was excellent. The meat was tender and deeply comforting, and the couscous carried it beautifully. The pomegranate seeds added small bursts of acidity that brought the dish to life. It was the clear standout of the evening.

Service maintained consistency throughout the night, and despite the tight room, the pacing of the meal felt natural. Prices sit on the higher side, which fits the category, though a few dishes could benefit from slightly more generous portions.

Becca is a restaurant with a clear culinary identity and a sincere approach to hospitality. With a bit more balance in certain dishes and more attention to consistency, it has the potential to reach an even higher level. The lamb shank, bone marrow, and Caesar salad are the strongest expressions of what the kitchen does well.

I would give Becca 4 out of 5 stars.

A special thank you to Natalie who did everything from helping us to pick out the decor for the tables, to opening up the restaurant early on Sunday morning so we could set up, to being present the entire event to ensure it went smoothly (and it did)! A reasonably priced place with amazing food.

Atomosphere was great. Appetizer hummus platter was also nicely prepared and tasty. Sadly got the lamb chops and they were extremely fatty. When mentioned to the server he said that's a normal amount of fat and thats how it gets it's flavor.

Litterly saw a table near us with the same dish and not the same issue. Also saw a review from a week earlier with pictures of the same dish without the issue.

Server should definitely not defend the dish before actually looking at the amount of fat I had to cut off before getting an ok piece of meat.

Been in the restaurant business myself for over 25 years and never once would I defend a dish before actually looking at what I was defending.

Shame because I had high hopes for the restaurant. 1000% get that a mistake could happen with a piece of meat. Service on the other hand don't get at that price point.

We had a lovely birthday celebration dinner. Didn't expect the place to be full on a Monday night. Tuna appetizer was really tasty. I had pasta for a main and my wife had a lamb tagine. Both were excellent. So nice to see a tasty kosher restaurant thriving

Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the brick chicken. The tuna tartare was fresh and full of flavor, and the desserts were outstanding, you can tell they have a skilled pastry chef. The service really impressed me too. The food quality, atmosphere, and prices all feel very fair for this level of dining. I also appreciated that they validated our valet ticket and had our cars ready before we even finished eating, which was such a nice touch. It’s great to finally see a kosher restaurant offering top-quality food and service without being overpriced. Highly recommend, and I’m already looking forward to going back.

I drove all the way from Monsey NY to Becca Mediterranean in Cliffside Park it has such a calm, sophisticated vibe — modern yet warm, with soft lighting and an elegant energy that makes it perfect for a relaxed night out. The space feels upscale without being stuffy — just beautiful, comfortable, and full of good energy.

The food was outstanding. We ordered the lamb chops, frena bread, kebab, and boneless rib steak, and every single dish was spot-on. The lamb chops were juicy and perfectly seasoned, the kebab was tender and full of flavor, and the steak was cooked exactly to temperature — rich, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Even the bread was incredible — warm, fluffy, and the perfect complement to everything on the table.

Service was just as impressive — attentive, gracious, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell this place takes real pride in what they do.

Very a cool place with a fun energy and unique design. The menu was unique and simple. The food was not anything particularly tasty. The bread appetizer was very good and their dips are amazing. The passion fruit cocktail is a must if you like PF and tortellini is good. Pasta marinara was basic and the filet mignon we thought was a bit dry. Duck was dry but lamb chops were great. Tomahawk is a good idea and nice presentation, good taste.

Went here Thursday night. Great food and a really elegant and fun addition to the NJ kosher scene.

– Started with the drink menu. Eveything has a signature spin. My old fashion has been embued with tahini flavor. Very unique!

– In our opinion, the breads were the star of the show. They have a crazy oven them imported and the starter bread was just amazing, fresh and warm. We order the mezze platter and I would dip that bread in anything.

– We then had the flatbread and bone marrow — both fantastic in their own right but also just great vehicles for super interesting bread.

– My wife had that salmon and thought it was awesome. The skin was crispy and the salmon still soft and medium.

– I had the burger and didn't think I would be able to get through it because I was so full but the bun kind of just was airy and really light and the burger was overall so thick and well cooked.

– Last we had what was like a reconstructed chocolate bar for dessert and it was sweet, delicious and a decadent way to end the meal.

Ambiance is also five stars. They have a private party room in the back. They are making a fun outdoor space. They have a fun photo station in the back.

Last night we dined at this restaurant, and from start to finish it was an outstanding experience.

The entrance is unique—set apart from the typical main street locations—and the moment you step inside, the modern and chic design immediately catches your eye.We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk, setting the tone for the evening.

The food was absolutely top-notch. On the premises, there’s a beautiful Italian taboon oven with a dedicated baker who

prepares fresh bread to order with a variety of toppings. We’ve never tasted bread so flavorful and delicious.

Each dish was executed to perfection—the ribeye steak was tender and buttery soft. The homemade desserts were both creative and delightful, rounding out the meal beautifully.My wife and I have visited many kosher restaurants around the world, but this one truly stands out as one of the very best.
